The Practitioner-Researcher

Asking the questions that
aren't being asked about work.

I come to this research not as a detached observer,
but as a practitioner.

I'm Neha Bhardwaj. For the past 20 years, my career in HR and organisational change has been driven by one core passion: building better systems and making things work well for people. Based in Tamaki Makaurau, I am a huge supporter of NZ Inc., working closely with scaling startups to help them navigate growth. I'm also a Mum who cares deeply about the kind of future we are building.

Having facilitated numerous restructures from the organisational side of the table, I know what happens behind the scenes. I've seen firsthand how a shift in a role can shake a person's professional confidence and sense of value, long before any formal announcement is made.

Currently, I am completing a Master of Technological Futures at AcademyEX, using this platform to study the realities of AI in the workplace. But this is more than an academic exercise. I carry a responsibility to approach this work with humility, transparency, and genuine care for the people actually living through these transitions.

Why this matters.

A brief overview of the research and the human reality of what I am working to understand.

An updated video introduction is coming shortly.
