I come to this research not as a detached observer,
but as a practitioner.

I'm Neha Bhardwaj, a Master of Technological Futures student at AcademyEX, Aotearoa.

Over the past 20 years, working in HR, organisational change, and neuroscience-based coaching, I have facilitated numerous restructures. I have sat on the organisational side of displacement, and I have witnessed identity fracture firsthand, long before any formal announcement is made.

I chose my own name at age five. Identity has never been abstract to me.

I carry a responsibility to approach this work with humility, transparency, and genuine care for those navigating transitions they did not choose.
